🥛 Making your own plant-based milks would be one of the biggest decisions you could make to reduce your food costs.
And all it takes is 10 minutes each week to blend up some cashew milk, put it in glass bottles and store in the refrigerator.
RECIPE:
- 1 litre water
- pinch salt (preferably Himalayan)
Put all ingredients in blender and Blend until creamy!
Store in bottle in fridge. Note you will need to shake each time you use.
I find cashew nuts make the creamiest and smoothest milk. However you can also experiment with almonds, peanuts, hazelnuts, macadamia nuts or tahini to discover what you prefer.
