Revive Cafes were set up by Jeremy & Verity Dixon in 2005 in Auckland to give people really healthy food.

All recipes in the cook books  and cafe are

- Amazingly delicious and colourful - you will not believe you are eating healthy food!

- Super easy using Jeremy's no fuss method of cooking: Fast, using simple and mostly inexpensive easy-to-find ingredients.

- Do not use processed or cane sugar but use natural sources like dates & maple syrup.

- Do not use processed flours like white flour.

- Over 95% of recipes in the cafe and cookbooks are gluten free. We use grains like quinoa, millet, buckwheat and brown rice.

- All recipes are vegan (exceptions: there are a couple of recipes in cookbooks 1 & 2 that contain eggs/feta cheese before we became completely vegan)

We will happily replace any product that has any quality issues, damage during transit, or if you are not happy with the product for any reason. 

Exceptions: We cannot refund or replace for the following reasons:

* If notified after 14 days from when the order was placed.

* Where customer specifies for the courier to leave without signature, and the delivery goes missing.

* For reheat meals where they are not refrigerated/frozen in time after they are delivered.

I have just bought a 10 pack buy from revive.

I have given some to my family, and they love the muesli they have tried, as have I. My Daughter likes anything with pecans, and I love anything with cranberries. We haven’t been able to sample all the different types yet, but I’m sure they will be as enjoyable as the ones we have tried already.
I am going to give my Grandson, who will be home from University in Palmerston North for Easter, the chocolate one and the peanut butter one, as he loves those flavours.
Very impressed with the ordering process…..even an oldie didn’t have issues, and the promptness of the order arriving.

A SPOONFUL OF CASHEW BUTTER.... makes the medicine go down...

No need for toast or crackers... a handful of cashew nuts has been my go to regular snack, like forever.... but with IBSD, nuts are recommended to avoid (as they are for people with diverticulitis). Bring on the smoothness and all the health benefits of nuts in a non gut irritating tablespoon of deliciousness that slowly melts in your mouth with minimum effort!!!

If I want something a bit more substantial, then cashew nut butter with banana, on a base.... adds potassium... and if the sweet tooth is hankering... a little home-made fig jam on top adds another layer of reasonably healthy eating.

The medicine? Psyllium husk... which can be added to any spread, as a more appealing way to ingest it, than mixing in water. I usually blend mine with home-made labneh or hummus, but I'm not loathe to trying it with my cashew butter.
